OPS Engineer Workload Automation

Job Description:

This role involves designing, optimizing, and managing critical workflows for ING Platform Services Tribe.

Key Responsibilities:      

• Workflow Design, implementation and maintenance
• Perform maintenance, upgrade and configuration on managed software
• Create and update internal documentation 
• Keep the managed software updated 
• Secure System by enforcing ING policies and standards
• Test and evaluate new solutions
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Rotate On call availability 24X7
• Collaborates across departments, ensuring efficient workflows, security, and successful project outcomes

Requirements:

• University Degree or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in the same role preferably within financial industry in a complex and international environment
• Knowledge of BMC Control M 9.0.19 or higher
• Knowledge of BMC TrueSight Server Automation 20.02 or higher
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (VBScript, Powershell, Bash, SH, Python)
• Proficiency in defining and scheduling jobs, managing dependencies, and monitoring job execution
• Experience in troubleshooting job failures, identifying root causes, and resolving issues promptly.
•  Experience within developing and performance optimization
• Knowledge of security best practices, including user access control, authentication, and authorization.
• Knowledge of operating systems Microsoft Windows Server 2012 – 2019
• Experience with git and Azure DevOps
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) B1 or higher level
• Knowledge of Ansible and IT automation is a nice to have

As a plus:

• Knowledge of T-SQL
• Control M Certification
