Job Description:
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining network performance by building & change net configurations and connections, troubleshooting L1 & L2 network incident & problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, upgrade, configuration of various networking devices
- Provide support in External connection documentation
- Create and update internal low level and high-level network infrastructure documents including diagrams
- Update network related Disaster Recovery procedures
- Secure network system by enforcing ING policies and standards
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network and enterprise architects on network optimization.
- Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- Rotate On call availability (8.00PM to 8.00AM including weekends and bank holidays)
- University degree
- +5 years’ experience in the same role/position in an international and complex environment
- Cisco CCNA certification / CCNP nice to have
- Experience gained within financial industry is a plus
- Experience on Cisco Systems complex switching (Catalyst and Nexus) and routing environments, Checkpoint firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 complex load balancing/SSL/VPN solutions, Blue Coat proxy solutions, Cisco Systems ISE, Linux based OS security appliance administration, Paessler PRTG / Nagios
