Facility Management

The Facility Management Department is a support team made up of some twenty employees which is in charge of property, logistical, operational, and security assets held by ING Luxembourg.

Its activities

The department is split up into six services:

Local Real Estate Management manages real estate transactions (acquisition, sale, leasing), maintains the buildings’ technical infrastructure, negotiates and coordinates maintenance and service contracts, and leads infrastructure and relocation projects to ensure that all employees can benefit from a secure and efficient working environment.

Facility Services & Maintenance is in charge of all logistical work, from operational checks of external services (catering, cleaning, security, etc.) to the management of the car pool and much more.
This service works closely with the department’s other teams, of course, but also with other departments (Procurement, IT, PMO, etc.).

Document Services is responsible for the management of all the bank’s document tasks, such as mailing, formatting, archive management, etc.

Physical Security & Safety develops and implements the bank’s security projects, so as to reduce internal and external operations risks as much as possible. It is also tasked with training and informing the staff about correct physical security procedures.

Management of Service Providing manages the optimisation of service contracts in conjunctions with various other bank departments, supervise the security booth, money transport, and Cash Monitoring activities. Finally, this team is responsible for coordinating the department’s communications.

Welcome Desk is responsible for telephone and reception services.
