How was the {Dev}School experience?

My journey towards {Dev}School is very interesting. I saw an ad on my phone. 3 words got my attention: {Dev}School, SQL, ING. I immediately clicked the ad.

Without any doubts, I applied. I passed the tests and the interview and just before I knew, I was part of the {Dev}School experience.

The courses were well structured: the right amount of theory and plenty of exercises. With the help of the trainer, I was able to better understand what SQL is and what's going on inside a bank.

I liked a lot the ING experience during {Dev}School and I still do, now as a full time member of the ING team.

What does {Dev}School offer to a student?

{Dev}School gives you the possibility to learn useful knowledge about different technologies in a practical way and within a professional company.

How’s Life at ING?

I’m currently based in the Application Development department where the team has the mission to rewrite three applications into a single one. This project allows me to see a great deal of the bank and it’s a really useful learning experience.

How would you explain your role in ING to a 10-year-old?

I’m creating  a bridge between business people and programmers. I’m mainly involved in facilitating things and bringing teams and departments together. I ensure that everyone has all the information they require.

If you were to save the world with an app…

An application through which every person in this world receives the necessary amount of food. So there's no hunger left and no food is wasted anymore.

Let’s say you wrote your first SF book. What would you call it?
