Our Sales Traineeship professional banking is designed for young graduates or with maximum 2 years of working experience with the focus on:

What will be your career story?
When you start, you will immediately take up your role in one of our branches. First you will get the time to explore your branch and your region. You will get to know our products and services, and this by training on the job and as well as classical trainings.
After 8 months, the focus of the Traineeship Professional Banking will lay on credit, consumer loans, mortgages and professional loans. You will learn what the policy within ING is regarding loans. You will also learn the various forms and the guarantees linked to it and can explain this product to a customer, including the tax related aspects. To concretize this you will be the animator of one campaign “business related” for your branch or region.
After 12 months, you will move to a more specialized role related to Professional Banking. You will be responsible for the professional results of your branch. In the end you will be able to explore intensive collaboration with your colleagues. You will get the time to get familiar with the different kind of jobs within your scope. Therefore you will animate your branch, coach people and also consistently developing your skills.
After 18 months to 24 months, you will most likely be ready to take on the job of a business developer, credit expert or teamleader. This will depend on commercial realizations, your motivation and involvement and if there is a vacancy at the moment.
