About ING:
ING’s purpose is ‘Empowering people to stay a step ahead in life and in business’. Every ING colleague contributes to that vision. The Opportunity:
FOR ITP ANALYST CANDIDATES:

Kick-start your dynamic career:
Are you eager to be part of one of the top players in the field of financial services? Do you share our belief that winning is not about luck, but about understanding our clients? Then here is a deal you don’t want to miss: The International Talent Program (ITP).

Your first year begins with a challenging orientation phase of 12 months where you are assigned to 3 separate, high-profile rotations throughout different teams within a business area. Afterwards, you are placed in an area of specialization for your fixed position. Your placement will depend upon a number of factors, including your ambitions, talent and the business needs.

What will you do?
The ITP is all about becoming an experienced financial services professional. To reach your goals quickly, we facilitate personal and professional growth in two steps:

1) Orientation phase (1 year, 3 rotations)
From the beginning, you will contribute in one of the business areas within ING. You will work on three challenging rotations within the same job family to get a broader scope. Right from the start, you make valuable contributions to the business and actively chip in towards your team’s success. Typically, each rotation will last three to four months. The first 2 rotations are domestic and the third and final rotation is abroad in an international office.

2)  Placement (after year 1)
Next, you will specialize in a fixed position depending on your talent, ambitions, and business needs. You get increased responsibility, enhance your knowledge, network, and develop your skills to your full potential. Although you are on a fast track, you stay in control of your career. You decide the goals to aim for; we offer ample development opportunities to match your ambitions.

Your development; Our Promise:
We believe in facilitating talent rather than leading people by the hand and we are committed to your success. Many chances for development will come along, so showing initiative will certainly pay off. And you won’t be on your own. You will benefit from coaching from Human Resources and your line manager(s).

Together you will make an annual tailor-made plan of your learning activities and future career steps to help you grow and build upon your skills.

Training:

We start you off with an extensive welcome program to familiarize you with ING. Furthermore, you master fundamental skills related to finance, presentation, communication and negotiation by getting the following training:

  • Comprehensive onboarding program in Amsterdam (typically 2 weeks)
  • 4 intensive internal training program events (1 event per each year of program - Inspire, Connect, Perform, & Lead) in one of our global locations to hone your financial aptitude and improve your personal skills
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – Level I & Level II exams (taking and passing these exams is a required part of the program)
