Compliance Manager, Advisory – Credit
ING Australia banking operates across the globe in a number of markets and we are expanding our teams in Sydney. This is a great opportunity to join a multinational bank. We are looking to hire a Compliance Manager, Advisory – Credit to join the compliance team in a true business facing role, providing advisory and support to senior stakeholders from existing product development to new product launches..

Our compliance team is collaborative and professional and encouraged to be creative resulting in innovative approaches to achieve compliant solutions for the business.

Responsibilities



You will have end to end compliance responsibilities in relation to credit products and services (home/business loans, personal loans, credit cards, wholesale credit), including proactively developing, managing and ensuring the business maintains a best practice compliance framework.
Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager (Advisory), you will assist ING in meeting banking regulatory requirements and obligations in Australia and head office, Amsterdam
Proactively promote and maintain an effective and sustainable compliance culture throughout ING Australia
Provide Compliance Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and advice on credit products and services to the retail bank leadership team regarding compliance obligations for existing and new products/processes.
Advise stakeholders on new and upcoming regulatory changes and assess business impacts
Conduct targeted compliance risk and policy reviews and implement any necessary changes in the framework


About You



Degree qualified in accounting, commerce, law or related discipline
Strong understanding and proven working knowledge of legal, regulatory and industry code obligations that relate to credit products and services (home/business loans, personal loans, credit cards, wholesale credit).
Ability to consider alternative solutions to a problem while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
Proven capacity to interpret and translate legal, compliance and regulatory obligations into plain English workable policies and guidelines
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully negotiate and deal with change
