The Mission:

As Feature Engineer for Inside Business Portal, Service Request Module, you will be responsible of understanding and refining business requirements, finding the best implementation options together with a Customer Journey Expert or a Developer and present the solution to the business (Product Owner).



Your Day-to-Day

  • Interpret and clarify business requirements and refine the product backlog
  • Design multiple technical solutions and validate the best one with the Developer and Product Owner
  • Write software development technical specifications and stories and help estimate the complexity of user stories
  • Analyze internal processes and work with the users to ensure the system correctly models their latest process
  • Understand and translate complex business needs / requirements into functional specifications
  • Ensure the quality of the software and consider non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability or scalability). Manage quality assurance processes to ensure submitted development work meets requirements (perform UAT,  contribute to the automated functional testing)
  • Participate in daily scrums with developers to help ensure that work in progress will meet requirement goals
  • Collaborate with developers to adapt solutions to the existing environment
  • Create automated functional tests for user stories and SMOKE tests. Build and execute (automated) functional and integration tests and (automated) user acceptance
  • Contribute/coordinate release test reporting
  • Periodically update Operational Controls – activity shared inside the team
  • Roll out new features and keep the documentation up to date for clients and employees. Provide support for the business user and other support lines
  • Look at potential causes for problems and identify alternative approaches of resolution
  • Quickly troubleshoot and establish functional issues in production

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Technical studies, Business and/or Banking)
  • Progressive experience of 4-6 years in a similar position
  • Understanding of retail banking products, flows, systems, etc, are a plus
  • Good understanding of SQL, scripting, (python is a plus)
  • Generic Knowledge about programming, IT systems, testing
  • Trainings and certifications (like CBAP, BABOK, ITIL)
  • Experience in coordinating medium projects including stakeholder management and communicating with other project teams
  • Familiarity with Excel, Visio, PowerBI
  • Fluency in English

You also have strong analytical skills and logical thinking, fair knowledge of oriented programming and a good understanding of SQL and database structures.
