We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to lead the Compliance Risk Management Department at ING. You will embed a strong compliance culture that aligns with ING’s bank policies and local regulations. Using a risk-based approach, you will support business plans and outcomes within ING’s risk appetite and applicable legal requirements. Your expertise in commercial banking and understanding of local compliance legislation and regulation will see you working with Senior Stakeholders to champion the compliance culture of ING in Australia.
Management and leadership of the Compliance Team including the design and implementation of team objectives and individual performance measures
Represent the Compliance Risk Management Department in committees with Senior Management.
Management, Development and maintenance of an effective compliance framework for ING DIRECT and ensuring that the framework is aligned with both ING Group standards as well as local requirements
Maintain an up to date operationally functional AML/FEC/FATCA compliance program and supporting documents
Degree qualified in accounting, commerce, Australian Law or related discipline
Retail financial services experience in managing and advising on compliance risk
Thorough understanding of relevant local compliance legislation and regulation
Strong analytical skills and the ability to proactively identify and diagnose compliance related issues quickly and provide business oriented solutions
