The ING Czech Republic Wholesale Banking Lending team is offering a new opportunity for a dedicated professional keen to take responsibility for key reporting, monitoring and lending analytics tasks supporting Lending teams in transaction management and credit risk mitigating, regulatory and reporting driven activities. The Lending team consists of highly motivated professionals that work closely with Sector Teams, Relationship Managers, Product teams, Credit Risk Management, Legal, and several other support functions.

You will be:

The Reporting, Monitoring & Lending Analytics Specialist is expected to pro-actively take ownership & responsibility of certain transaction management processes, monitoring, reporting, and annual reviews / applications covered by a portfolio approach. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other team members and departments locally and across the international network of ING.* responsible for accurate, efficient and timely execution of credit files under your remit in respect of lending products as well as financial markets and transaction services products requiring credit limits* involved in annual reviews and modifications depending on nature of client and proposal* executing standard lending transactions in the LAM area and supporting other Lending colleagues in the execution process for complex transactions* supporting the preparation of term sheets and standard loan documentation* responsible for monitoring the credit profile of clients (including covenant calculations) and initiating appropriate actions in case of deteriorating credit quality* responsible for ensuring the implementation and modification of internal credit limits in the systems of ING, if applicable* supporting to the teams on other lending tasks where applicable* taking the initiative yourself and you can prioritize and plan the various activities* actively thinking about optimizing your own work processes and achieving objectives

What the role involves?

* preparing credit ratings and recording financial statement data of clients (both existing and prospects)* performing financial analyses based on standard templates* preparing credit applications / reviews for clients falling under a portfolio approach* preparing and modifying standard loan documentation* monitoring clients’ (financial) performance and calculating relevant financial ratios of existing clients* maintaining the data quality and managing administration & Front Office related operational tasks in respect of the portfolio;* performing key regulatory tasks and calculations forming part of the lending process * delivering evidences in the context of SOX and Key Control Testing* developing a day to day working relationship with other Lending colleagues, Sector teams, Relationship Managers, Product & Support teams and across the ING network* ensuring adherence to all applicable lending policies

Who we are looking for?

* we are looking for a dedicated professional with a bachelor degree and work experience in the accounting or the financial services sector* our new colleague shall have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, drive for efficiency* proficiency in English and Czech and strong team spirit* furthermore, the candidate should have knowledge of advanced Excel functions and be able to manage large data files, in addition to basic understanding of financial statements

What we offer you?

The position is based in Prague. This is a new function that is part of the Czech Lending team and reports to the Head of Lending Czech Republic. You will work closely with the Lead Reporting, Monitoring and Lending Analytics Czech Republic and with colleague(s) in the same function. Other: * the position is for 40 work hours per week.
