A day in the life of a Security Engineer

·       Support the DevOps to a more secure and compliant engineering journey.

·       Support the process manager for vulnerability scanning, technical state compliance monitoring, security event monitoring, DLP, etc.

·       Improve process efficiency through security engineering automations and simplifications.

·       Follow-up and contribute on local & global initiatives including PCS and/or minimum standard.

·       You are able to push the needle and want to change things pragmatically and help DevOps to succeed in their security operations.

·       You understand, experienced and challenge ING’s engineering processes & infrastructure including automation

·       You understand and master the relevant ING security processes and standards.

·       You have experience and/or education in IT or security engineering

·       You are passionate about security and/or interested to learn everything about it.

• You are able to quickly learn new skills and concepts
• You speak up and challenge decisions (you ask why things are done instead of just doing them)

As a Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to:
