 About this opportunity

We are looking for a candidate to join the Variations Credit Team on a 12 Month Fixed-term Contract basis. This role is responsible for supporting credit assessors in the processing of changes to existing loan variations (product switches). You will also process variations that do not require credit assessment such as account opening, changes to loan structure and letters of offer for internal refinances. The Variation Processing Officer will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, working as part of a team, maintaining knowledge of mortgage processes and liaising with external business partners.

 

Please note: As this is a secondment opportunity, you will need to return to your current position at the end of the secondment term. It is essential that you discuss your application with your current Team Leader/Manager before applying.


Main responsibilities
  • Action customers’ requests within defined policy, process and procedures to create and maintain accounts including;
    • Process loan variation changes
    • Process loan switches
    • Prepare internal form for account drawdown
  • Identify and escalate potential issues and risks
  • Create and send correspondence to client and suppliers
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to internal teams as required
About you
  • 1 year experience in a customer service role
  • Understanding of the retail mortgage industry
  • Team player
  • Strong attention to detail
