Your role and work environment:



The Corporate Finance Associate provide support for the activities of more senior team members of the Corporate Finance team (MD/D/VP) on a day-to-day basis.


Work under direct supervision of VP or more senior staff. Individuals have varying degrees of responsibility in supporting new business development efforts, executing transactions and assisting in other general advisory work. Expected to handle some small transaction situations independently but will require assistance with large size or special situation transactions.



Your key responsibilities:




As part of a larger transaction team, the Associate will play a key role in producing marketing materials, building models and general analysis, under the direction of a more senior banker and most often with the support of an analyst.


Undertaking, and where relevant, managing the business development effort and valuation work undertaken by other team junior(s).


Assisting the senior team with the execution of transactions, including transaction structuring, process management and driving forward the transaction timeline / execution.


Being responsible for financial analysis, modelling and business valuations in the business development and transaction execution activities.



What are we looking for?



The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of financial advisory experience (with a strong preference for M&A experience) working across sectors. The candidate should have excellent analytical and modelling skills with ability to run a financial model independently, a strong commercial drive and should be fluent in English. The candidate should show genuine interest in the Corporate Finance industry and have the ability to earn trust and respect of clients, colleagues and senior management.
