INTERNSHIP EQUITY CAPITAL MARKETS AMSTERDAM
ING Equity Capital Markets currently has two vacant internship positions with starting dates Monday 3 February and Monday 2 March 2020 and a duration of five to six months (to be agreed upon).
ING Equity Capital Markets
Equity Capital Markets (ECM) is part of the Corporate Finance (CF) department and advises companies on raising equity on international stock markets. Products covered by ECM include Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity issues and secondary offerings (rights issues or accelerated bookbuild offerings (ABBs)), share buybacks, preference shares issuances and equity-linked transactions (convertible bonds). ECM - together with the (equities) dealing room - originates, structures and markets equity and equity-linked transactions to institutional investors (e.g. pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds) and retail investors.
What can we offer?
As an ECM Intern you will work in a young, dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated team on challenging projects for high profile clients, mainly in Europe. You will be supporting the team in originating, structuring and executing ECM transactions. You will be part of transaction teams on high profile European ECM transactions (examples of our transactions include the Xior Rights Issue, Prosus listing, Marel IPO, B&S Group IPO, NIBC IPO, DWS IPO, VolkerWessels IPO, Bayer Rights Issue, Signify sell-down ABB, Credit Suisse Rights Issue, Deutsche Bank Rights Issue). Who are we looking for?
Suitable candidates are ambitious Master (or outperforming third year Bachelor) students in preferably Finance, Business, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering or Mathematics with a high energy level, strong attention to detail, ability to work time-efficiently within a team setting, good communication and interpersonal skills and affinity with finance and financial markets.

ING Corporate Finance adopts a sector-based approach, putting together client teams across borders to reflect local relationships and product specialists and to ensure the highest standards of transaction execution.
The Amsterdam office of ING CF is responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in a Benelux domestic and cross-border context, as part of ING Wholesale Banking’s European Corporate Finance team. The CF team in Amsterdam consists of over 50 professionals.
