ING WB CRO is looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Operational Risk professional. You will operate as ORM Officer, within the ING WB Global ORM team. As an ORM professional you cover the full scope of ORM activities. Your specific responsibilities will cover challenging and advising the business on assessing risks, product approvals, risk monitoring, evaluation 1st LoD NFR deliverables and risk reporting. As part of the global team, your scoping includes functional oversight on WB ORM units situated around the globe.
Who we are looking for?
You are analytical and able to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. You have in-depth knowledge of financial services (preference is given for experience in advanced analytics) and approximately 3-5 years relevant (operational risk or internal audit) working experience. You recognize yourself in the following competence profile: pro-active mind-set, flexible, helicopter view, service oriented and understanding of organizational sensitivity. You are committed and get the job done. You can be convincing in a friendly way, have good communication skills, and are comfortable to work in a multi-national team of professionals.
· Bachelor / Master’s degree in preferably Economics, Business Economics, Business Administration or Finance;
· Professional certification (RA, RE, CIA) is advantageous
· Good communication skills and fluent in English (both verbal and reporting).
· Flexibility for international travel
This vacancy is one that is deemed ‘sensitive’. Hence an extra security clearance is required by the Corporate Special Investigations (CSI) unit of ING. Only after a positive CSI clearance the person is allowed to be appointed to this position.
