This support focuses on developing tools, knowledge and building capabilities within the Compliance community helping ING in further enhancing a sound and integrity-led risk culture. This can be achieved by e.g. increasing the focus on risk culture and behaviour within various departments within ING. This translates into looking into the functioning of soft controls, qualitative monitoring on risk culture & behaviour, facilitating dilemma dialogues and developing ways to support ING staff to live to the ING Orange Code promise.

Senior Compliance Expert Conduct & Ethics

There is an increasing focus on the way banks and other types of organisations take risk culture and ethics into account when doing business. Merely abiding by laws and regulations does not (always) suffice. We believe that our license to operate is built on the trust our stakeholders put in us. Having a long term view on the way we operate and want to be perceived is therefore essential. The Compliance Conduct & Ethics team plays a key role in establishing just that. As the topic and our responsibility in this area grows, we are looking for reinforcement of our team!
