Diversity & Inclusion Consultant

Your work environment:
You will be working for the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion. You will work as part of a motivated team in close cooperation with the HR BPs.

• University degree
• Understanding of HR, as well as the drivers of our business;
• Track record of working with teams across geography driving diversity & inclusion
• Work experience in an international setting

• 10+ years as an HR professional driving Diversity and Inclusion. Knowledge of best-in-class diversity & inclusion practices and solutions

• Experience of working in a matrixed global environment essential

• Demonstrated success in delivering results through a variety of stakeholders

• Track record of driving changes through influencing and communication

• Program management skills

• Strong relationship skills and ability to build rapport and to operate effectively with (senior) stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds


• Provide expertise, market insights and best practice on D&I practices

• Embed D&I principles into existing global standards and processes and create D&I policies as appropriate

• Design and deliver strategic or complex initiatives and programs that support ING D&I strategy

• Work in partnership with other areas of expertise to ensure you provide integrated and value adding solutions to the business

• Capability building of broader HR community (eg CoE/HR Business Partners/People Services) to increase their awareness, knowledge and application of D&I practices

• Work in partnership with the HR community and complex senior stakeholder networks across ING businesses/countries to implement and embed policies and strategic initiatives and make them workable throughout the network

• Guide diversity networks within ING to help them create initiatives that support the D&I strategy

• To stay updated with external best practices, build external networks in order to inform and support D&I innovation and next practice within ING

• To track metrics to analyze and support D&I initiatives

• To drive continuous improvement in D&I
