An opportunity has become available to become part of the Trading Risk Management (TRM) Change department focusing on the Trading Model Implementation (TMI) initiative for which a new project organisation has been set up. You will be part of the ‘Air Traffic Control’ team who acts as a Center of Expertise in the COO Risk organisation. In that role you will contribute to Risk transformations such as the Trading Model Implementation and facilitate Risk processes that are tribe overarching. Examples are the ever-challenging match between supply and demand from all across ING, communication and coordination and connecting the dots. Additionally, you will be part of the TRM Transformation team that manages and coordinates various strategic change projects, but also performs analysis and provides support to other TRM colleagues. Our team of highly ambitious and driven professionals offer global support to both local and central change initiatives by always being on top of developments across the globe and report on our overall progress towards the board and ECB.

Roles and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for the role are:

  • Take seat in the overarching the ‘Air Traffic Control’ team to contribute to the full portfolio of TRM Change, and in particular TMI

  • Participating in and contribute to global projects like the FM Enhancement program

  • Ensure adequate communication and coordination between the stakeholders of related TRM regulatory projects

  • Connecting the dots between the various regulatory and strategic programs and identifying and managing dependencies

  • Analyse complex business problems and propose solutions/enhancements

  • Interact and update all internal stakeholders from Financial Markets, Model Validation, Model Development, TRM and COO

  • Participate in knowledge sharing activities inside ING like community meetings and contribute to knowledge networks

  • Follow up on ad hoc requests

As a Business Consultant you are/have:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or similar, and analytical skills

  • Basic understanding of financial markets and products, risk and data management

  • Proactive, Can-Do, No Surprises and Positive mind-set

  • Contribute to large change programs in an international context and the ability to master complex content

  • Work successfully with multiple countries and make sure these different cultures will work together as one team: considering different habits, languages and time-zones, etc.

  • Focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose

  • Strong communicator (verbally and in writing) with attention to the overall picture and detail

  • A team player who can work independently in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed organization

  • A flexible approach to complex and urgent requests

  • To be fluent in English
