The Technical Business Analyst will work within the Mortgage Tribe at ING to support the delivery of regulatory risk projects mandated by local and European regulators including but not limited to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and European Central Bank (ECB).

On a day-to-day basis the candidate will run workshops with stakeholders in the business, risk, operations and internal and vendor technology teams to capture and document functional requirements.

The Technical Business Analyst will be expected to write user stories with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria which the delivery squad will use to build and test functional changes. 

What you’ll do

  • Support the Product Owner is writing user stories
  • Attend agile ceremonies with the Product Owner and delivery squad on a regular basis to ensure effective implementation of the business requirements. From time-to-time the Associate Product Owner may also be involved in SIT and UAT
  • Assist with risk assessment documentation and business readiness artefacts to support implementation
  • Work with a range of stakeholders across the bank and prioritising based on driving the mortgages strategy

  • Previous experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong mortgage system and process knowledge
  • An understanding of business objectives and processes in a complex environment and can ensure these are reflected in system requirements
  • Sound communication and presentation skills
  • Awareness of risk management principles, assessments and controls
