Your role &workenvironment

ClientServices is the new environment where all customer requests and customercontacts are handled end-to-end by self-organizing Customer Loyalty Teams (CLT).The heart of this organization are CLTs that consist of around 11 Members,guided by a Circle Lead and an Agile coach.

Youhave a techno-commercial function where you are the central point of contactfor the clients. You guide them in an emphatic way to successfully close theirrelationship throughout ING.

Together you organize your day in an Agile way ofworking.


Your keyresponsibilities

Within the Goodbye team you have 2 major responsibilities:
  1. Making the offboarding process a success
  2. End to End dedicated specialist KYC Remediationprocesses in the re-onboarding phase

  • You will take care ofthe closing of the full relationship with ING

  • You takeresponsibility of the completion of the full dossier 

  • You are the centralpoint of contact in the full process both for internal and externalstakeholders

  • You are End-to-end responsible that questions andproblems of customers from A to Z are answered and solved

  • You must ensure correct verification of (high, medium)risk customers according to regulations, risk appetite and ING’s policies

  • You will interact with clients to obtain KYC and othercompliance information and documentation and review for completeness andaccuracy

  • You will take responsibility from customer contact toadministrative processing (by telephone, email)

As a CLT team member you will also need:
  • Bachelor / Master level
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years in bankingand/or regulatory affairs: Know Your Customer, (e.g. Financial Economic Crime),fiscal transparency and reporting (e.g. FATCA, Qualified Intermediary, CommonReporting Standards, Ultimate Beneficial Owner)

  • Good knowledge of cross bankregulations, general banking processes, regulatory reporting, risk policies

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French andEnglish (working language as well oral as written)

  • Strong analytical andadministrative skills

  • Organized and structured way of working
  • Coordination is one of you key trades
  • You are stress resistant and able todeliver negative messages in a constructive manner

  • Driven and customer focused, loving tocollaborate with different people

  • Problem analysis and judgement(recognizing important information, identifying problems, researching andmaking connections)

  • Professional certification: having thelaw Willems certificate is an asset

  • Agrees with the team who can be presentand when. The opening hours within the CLT Events organization are from Mondayto Friday from 8 am to 6 pm
