Your role and your  work environment

You will be growing a portfolio of "large enterprise" customers/prospective customers, generating turnover of between 10 and 250 M€, based mainly in Walloon.

You will be joining the Barchon Business Center which is made up of 21 Relationship Managers, 6 Sales & Services Officers, one PME Manager and one Business Center Director.


Your main responsibilities

Proactive commercial management of your Midcorporates portfolio

  • increase the overall profitability of your portfolio, product volumes and cross-selling
  • activate Midcorp specialist teams + create synergies with Retail and Private Banking
  • grow your portfolio by acquiring new customers and creating your network

Management of loan applications 

  • negotiate complex loan requests regularly and put loan applications together
  • actively collaborate with the Risk, Operational and Support Departments
  • strictly manage credit risks & compliance within your portfolio

be the preferred banker for your customers and your economic partners

  • make ING your customers' first bank and achieve the best market satisfaction score
  • stand out from competitors by providing relevant content and added value for your customers
  • be an ING ambassador and a recognised banker in public relations activities

As a Large Enterprises Relationship Manager, you will also need:

  • a Master's level qualification in Economics or Commercial Engineering (or equivalent)
  • successful experience in a sales function and a passion for the world of enterprises
  • an extensive background in starting credit along with a balanced approach to risk
  • good general knowledge of the bank, how it works, its products/processes
  • a hunter instinct focused on results
  • to be a team player with a sense of solidarity and synergy
  • disciplined organisation with good resistance to stress combined with flexibility
  • spoken and written fluency in German (and French), with good writing skills
