  • an academic degree and or MBA in economics, law or comparable 
  • minimum 10 years of experience in sales / making deals
  • experience in lending products and daily banking services 
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English, Dutch and French

Your role … 

  • being the central point of contact for your clients in Belgium; local subsidiaries and regional headquarters of international corporates with a global turnover as of 250mio € and/or stock listed
  • acting as a relationship manager between your client’s senior management and ING’s internal stakeholders or product specialists
  • ensuring smooth credit approval processes while maintaining the growth of overall revenues and ROE of your portfolio
  • originating proactively new profitable business and identifying cross-sell opportunities within your client portfolio in continuous cooperation with ING Network countries in EMEA, APAC and Americas
  • coordinating and supervising the (local) deal team and activating the product specialists
  • liaising closely with your Team Head, your peers internationally and ING product colleagues
  • ensuring relevant client reporting, holding credit, operational and compliance risks at the highest standards by supporting the in-depth completion of Know-Your-Customer processes
  • coaching junior resources, supporting their professional growth

As a Relationship manager in the International Clients team, you serve local subsidiaries of International Corporates with Headquarters in different countries where ING WB has a presence, active in different sectors.
