Investment Advisory Platform Expert

Your Role:

As Investment Advisory Platform Expert, you will work within ING's agile model and will be responsible for the development, end-to-end management and promotion of the investment advisory service adopted by ING Italy.

Your key responsibilities: 

• Participating in complex projects, including cross-countries ones, related to development of investment advisory service involving a plurality of stakeholders and cross-departmental activities;
• Define business requirements and functional solutions to improve the digital processes involving the customer journey strategy;
• Follow the end-to-end implementation process of business initiatives;
• Produce investment periodic monitoring reports both business and regulatory;
• Collaborate with the investment advisory team to manage running activities and issues that could arise over time;
• Support sales channels and provide training sessions on enhancing investment advisory service and product distribution;
• Monitor the business performance of the product/service by distribution channel and launch early warning signals in the event of negative phenomena;
• Follow the evolution of the investment advisory market in terms of distribution models, regulation, technological evolution to maintain an updated offer capable of guaranteeing an attractive and compliant value proposition.

Educational Qualifications:

•       Master’s degree in Finance/Economics or related fields;
• Fluent English both written and spoken;
• Knowledge and experience in managing and implementing of projects related to investment advisory services and products (mutual funds, insurance-based investment products);
• Knowledge and experience on discretionary portfolio management and/or private markets/alternative funds will be a plus;

Experience and required skills:   

• Proven experience in similar roles (+3 years)
• Strong Knowledge of investment advisory models including current regulatory framework is a must
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products and competitors
• Experience in managing/leading complex projects
• Ability to work in a team
• Proven planning and organizational skills
• Customer oriented approach
• Ability to produce clear presentations and documents
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a natural propensity for training people
