ING is looking to recruit a Business Analyst for Data & Analytics
 

Purpose

Do you want to play an essential role in ensuring the good reputation of ING, and be in the first line of defense against money laundering and terrorist financing? Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst within the Data & Analytics Department in ING Hubs Philippines.

You will be involved with the development of state-of-the-art solutions on socially relevant topics such as Anti- Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions, and their global implementation across 20+
countries, affecting 36 million ING customers. Through this we will be able to deliver our customers an optimal KYC experience whilst remaining compliant and in control of our risks and processes on a global scale. You will be in contact with market leading vendors and thought leaders in their respective domains. As such, you will be working with many colleagues from different disciplines, geographies, and backgrounds.


Job Profile
As a Business Analyst, you will help the Global Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention (FCFP) area in optimizing a tool used for automation of data changes for the strategic platforms used for Customer Due Diligence. You will help build the necessary requirements list and will support in bridging the gap between the business and the technical team.
You also can support key data management initiatives related to development of data flows across different systems. You will also contribute to the definition and follow up on the milestones of the data roadmaps for these products and systems in line with the global policies followed by ING.


As a Business Analyst, you are expected to:
• Help ING prevent Money Laundering and Financial Crimes globally.
• Solve complex challenges and take decisions based on data and facts.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and help design solutions for the journeys.
• Be capable in designing user-centric data solutions in an end-to-end context covering all functional and non-functional aspects in close collaboration with multiple teams, including IT dependencies.
• Stimulate cross-border interaction and coordinate the contribution of supporting teams (such as data management, global analytics, compliance, process owners, etc)
• Identify epics, features of the relevant squads, and clarify the definition done (DoD) together with the Product Lead
• Give and ask for constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ING’s policies and standards.


You might be the one that we are looking for if:
• You have a minimum bachelor’s degree (IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics/Business).
• You have a minimum of 3+ years of working experience in IT process and/or software/technical implementations.
• You have experience with data management (data flows and architecture, data analysis, data integration, data lineage and mapping)
• You are familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and has basic knowledge on JAVA, API and / or Kafka notifications.
• You have awareness on basic KYC concepts (experience within the areas of Financial Economic Crime, Anti Money Laundering or Compliance is a plus)
• You are an energetic & approachable professional.
• You focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose.
• You take responsibility, steer strategy and realizations based on facts and data, managerial courage to ask questions and make decisions.
• You can easily “switch context” – so you are able to drive multiple (and distinct) topics during the day within an Agile environment where change is constant.
• You are a strong analytical and abstract thinker.
• You have strong communication, presentation, networking and influencing skills.
• You are passionate for learning and knows to ask the right questions in coming up with business requirements.
• You are articulate – fluent in English (speaking and writing) and can communicate effectively across persons with different skillsets and seniority levels.
• You are a team player – eager to learn and can coach others.
