Your key responsibilities:
As an Analyst you will work predominantly in tandem with Associates/VPs/Directors, assisting them in:
managing a suitable portfolio of complex corporate clients in all credit-related matters, with focus on origination and execution of new requests, but also taking responsibility for in life management;
structuring and leading the negotiation of the credit facilities with the customer (in partnership with the relationship manager) and the follow up of the implementation/documentation of new credit facilities in collaboration with inhouse Legal Department or external legal counsel;
leading the origination and execution of complex / non-standard deals advising teams such as Loan Distribution, Debt & Capital Advisory, Debt Capital Markets;
being responsible for the preparation of credit packages according to ING policy and defend the credit request for approval to relevant approval mandate holders;
acquiring and keeping up to date your knowledge on lending products, ING policies and also the general economic environment;
reporting to Italy’s Head of Lending WB.

university degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, maths or equivalent
1-2 years of work experience in the financial sector, preferably within a lending or credit risk related environment
good knowledge of financial analysis
analytical and communication skills
commercial drive and pro-active mindset
ability to work independently and in agile teams
fluency in written and spoken Italian and English
Duration: Permanent
Location: Milan (hybrid)
