Finance Domestic Bank is responsible for the financial accounting and statutory/regulatory reporting of all Retail activities in ING’s home market, with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euro and responsible for 40% of ING’s worldwide profit.The Financial Accounting tribe aims at finding the balance between high speed to continuously deliver on all regulatory changes and an efficient and up-to-standard way of working to process vast data sets according to strict IFRS and ECB rules.

About the role

Liquidity & Statistical Reporting Services plays a vital role in preparing regulatory data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders for Domestic Bank Netherlands. Scope of reporting covers

  • Liquidity Coverage Ratio
  • Additional Monitoring Metrics report
  • Foreign Currency
  • Liability Data Report
  • Net Stable Funding Ratio
  • Systematic Important Financial Institutions reports
  • Country Risk
  • Macro-Economic Statistical RAPportage
  • Inter Bank Offered Rate reporting
  • Deposit Guarantee Scheme
  • Security Holding Statistics

The liquidity reporting contains all data elements related to the balance sheet of Domestic Bank Netherlands making it one of the most comprehensive reports to oversee. 

Liquidity reporting is also in continuous development, with amongst other the improvement and automation of the daily liquidity reporting and the ECB stress testing which has evolved into a daily and weekly regulatory requirement.

Furthermore, the team focusses on innovation with the use of new technologies like SAS EG to automate manual processes within Financial Reporting while ensuring the process is Sox compliant.

About the team

This team consists of 6 FTE. It is a mixed group in terms of nationalities, ages, experience and gender where we find it important everyone can feel part of the team.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in statutory or regulatory reporting. You are curious, do not hesitate to challenge the status quo, have a clear vision on strategic priorities and are able to take decisions and make priority calls. In addition, you have:

  • A Master degree in accounting, finance or a comparable field

  • Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) and prior work experience in a banking environment

  • Experience in dealing with important stakeholders like the external accountant

  • Affinity and experience with big (IT) change programs and process improvements, and you are passionate about innovation

  • A strong customer focus, and you enjoy to collaborate with people in various roles and squads

  • Skills to motivate, empower and stimulate people and strong collaboration skills

  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail
