About the position:
The Premises Manager is the first point of contact and liaison with ING Management, building landlords, and contractors / vendors to ensure all requirements are met to operate the business efficiently and effectively at our U.S. offices. The main office and position location is in New York City.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Premises Manager. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions, and project management experience.
About the department:
The Vice President position is responsible for a team of ten: One Facilities Supervisor and nine contracted personnel responsible for reception, mailroom/porters and internal events.
Responsibilities:
- Management of Premises Department team members which includes a Facilities Supervisor, Receptionists, Porters, Mailroom staff, and an Events Hospitality team.
- Identify and ensure all facility related concerns and employee service requests are addressed promptly and approved as necessary.
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, building lease agreements (cleaning specifications, rules & regulations, tenant alteration guidelines, approved contractors, building standards, insurance requirements, building guidelines).
- The performance of space planning and liaison with architects as necessary. Coordination with architects, engineers, landlords, etc. with occasional construction and office restructuring projects.
- Work closely with Information Technology and Security colleagues on construction / restructuring projects and building / city emergencies.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Candidate ideally should have an undergraduate degree but applicants with extensive experience will also be considered
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Premises manager
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Broad knowledge of business functions
- Project management experience
Base Salary Range: $140K-$180K
