SAM and FinOps specialist

This role is responsible for CIO Office team in TECH department about coverage of maintenance, licenses and services of ING Software and Hardware infrastructure.
It consists to monitoring, analyze, forecast and reporting costs from SAM (Software Asset Management) and FinOps prospective.
Support CIO Office, TECH and Bank initiatives and processes as continuous improvement following ING policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of IT budgeting and forecasting activities, communication and reporting, including actual vs budget/forecast (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual) about maintenance, licenses and services.
Management of licenses, maintenance of applications, devices and in particular about multi-cloud services, with responsibility for managing efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
Management of purchase orders and relationships with external suppliers, monitoring of them and related reporting activities.
Produce reports and dashboards for CIO, TECH Management, Tribes and ING Areas by collecting, analyzing and aggregating data as Showback costs distribution in order to increase awareness about the resource usage.
Support to the preparation of Business Cases and contributor to saving initiatives; where possible coordinate a worktables about continuous resources optimization.
About SAM and FinOps ensures timely and constant compliance of IT processes with policies, guidelines and mandatory controls, measures their performance and promotes improvement actions.
Multicloud services monitoring and analysis about costs and possible saving actions to be promoted.
Local SAM about global licenses management process.
Supports TECH Management about defining and maintaining the IT risk management roadmap updated.
Promotes continuous improvement actions and facilitates management decision-making processes through data analysis, in particular from cost prospective.
Supports the CIO Office Manager about coordinating team activities; assigns tasks, ensures execution and compliance with deadlines, keeps CIO and TECH management updated on progress.
Support infra team about Hardware inventory managing and Lifecycle planning and costs
Support TECH teams about contracting of services, maintenance and licenses; in particular about costs aspects but also DORA decision tree and IT Security Requirements.
Educational Qualifications:
5 years degree in computer engineering, industrial automation
High school diploma from technical institute
Technical, Language and other Specialized Skills:
General management skill in order to achieve goals and objectives
Understand and demonstrate proficiency in workplace activities
Excellent planning, decision-making, problem solving skills
Excellent communication, delegation, motivation, conflict resolution and empathy skills
Good knowledge about ING processes and Policies
