Your role

As a ServiceNow Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and inspiring a chapter of 20+ engineers in different locations around the world
  • Defining and implementing the best practices and standards for ServiceNow development and configuration
  • Ensuring the quality, performance, and security of the ServiceNow platform and applications
  • Collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the business needs and deliver value-added solutions
  • Driving the continuous improvement and innovation of the ServiceNow platform and capabilities
  • Contributing to the global ServiceNow community within ING and beyond
  • Mentoring and technically coaching the team of developers

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and architecture
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading and coaching teams of engineers
  • A solid understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.)
  • A certification in ServiceNow System Administrator, Application Developer, or Implementation Specialist
  • A strong knowledge of web technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP, etc.
  • A good command of English, both written and spoken
  • A growth mindset, a customer focus, and a collaborative attitude
  • A lot of experience with automated testing
  • A proficiency in pipeline based deployments
