We are looking for you, if you:
- are passionate about working with people and developing talents of others make you fulfilled,
- have at least 3 years of experience in team management,
- have experience with data engineering/data management/data analysis/ETL,
- have great organizing skills,
- have been working in a DevOps environment.
You'll get extra points for:
- experience with any of technologies like Oracle, SAS, python, different ETLs, Spark,
- knowledge of software development process and tools (CI/CD, Ansible).
Your responsibilities:
- manage a teams focused on platform delivery, primarily with the use of SAS and Python,
- planning, coaching, assessing and professionalizing your team members,
- recruiting and onboarding new talents,
- ensuring the highest quality of team results,
- interaction and relationship management with Projects stakeholders,
- proactive research and acquiring of new (data related) initiatives within ING Group,
- support for Product Managers in terms of business and platforms development,
- participation in global events due to marketing of teams Products and Culture, mainly because of talents acquisition.
Information about the squad:
The Data Engineering Chapter is responsible for the delivery of data, which later is used by multiple parties (model development, monitoring, validation. It’s a part of a bigger Data & Reporting Area where we represent the tech side and work alongside with BA, data analysts to deliver the right data related to the risk modelling activities within ING. This Area spans across multiple countries: the Netherlands, Poland and Philippines.
You will be responsible for the people working in various teams. Your daily tasks will include coordinating with Product Managers and fellow managers to help and steer the development of our engineers and solutions.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Chapter Lead IT Integrator II”
