Technical Business Analyst in Data area/ Feature Engineer

We are looking for you, if you:

  • Know SQL and Oracle Database,

  • Have basic knowledge of data models in Data Warehouse or other analytical/reporting systems,

  • Know how to prepare test scenarios in the area of Data Warehouse or reporting,

  • Have experience in data warehouse modeling,

  • Know how to translate business requirements to technical solutions,

  • Are a team player,

  • Have ability to quickly adopt to change and still complete your tasks,

  • Have excellent communication skills, writing and verbal in English.

You will get extra points for:

  • Experience in SAS,

  • Knowledge about credit risk modeling and how bank works,

  • VBA,

  • Azure DevOps.

Your responsibilities:

  • Data modelling and data flow design,

  • Preparation and execution of data model and data flow tests,

  • Documentation – technical and for business users,

  • Close cooperation with stakeholders,

  • Monitoring if all requirements of all relevant stakeholders are acknowledged in the analyses and the different solution designs,

  • Support the Tribe and squad to take decisions by presenting the different (functional and solution) design alternatives and their impact in a clear way,

  • Translating solution design into training material- and work instructions for employees.

Information about the squad:

You will be part of the Data & Reporting area within Data department which is part of COOR. This area is a part of Risk Hub – a business unit which main aim is to shape the future of risk modelling and data science in Poland. We are also part of global Data Operations tribe, we have colleagues in Amsterdam and Warsaw.

You will play a role of Technical Analyst in the squad of 7 people, responsible for data disclosure in controlled environment to users (mostly other data teams) – from data lake and/or local sources. Therefore, you will work closely with other data and analytics teams. You will report directly to Chapter Lead – Data Capabilities.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Feature Engineer III”
