Machine Learning Engineer

The team is responsible to complete targeted quantitative analyses and build advanced models across mainly the spectrum of Risk management, in order to guide the bank towards a more data driven knowledge and provide innovation processes throughout the bank. We apply advanced analytics and quantitative algorithms, statistical modelling techniques and data mining procedures to derive business insights and solve problems. In particular, with most common coding languages (e.g. SAS and Python) with attention into Big Data architecture (AWS and PySpark), we develop, monitor and implement no-regulatory models (e.g. scorecard, behavioural and propensity models, clustering...) and support the branches of other countries in our domain.
The employee is involved in implementing models and the solutions proposed by the team over the different assets of the bank. In addition, he/she attends the development our models and supports the data flow process by interacting with our IT department and local data management tribe.

Experiences:
Practical experience (at least 2+ years) with programming language such as Python, SAS and PySpark.
Solid fundamentals in the areas of AWS, Data Lake Architecture, Ms Azure

Skills

• Demonstrated solid data handling skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Personal public projects on github/azure or similar
• Fundamentals on dashboard and web apps by Python
• Experience in at least one of the following:

o Credit Decision Models
o Business Models (e.g., Churn, Propensity)
o Clustering techniques
