Software Solution Designer - Feature Engineer

Job Description
The main purposes will be to perform the interpretation of business rules and functional and not functional requirements to shape technical specification according to the given architectural specification in terms of interaction between systems, data exchanged, transformations etc. according to defined design methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• To participate and cooperate to shaping activities
• To participate to feasibility analysis for new or to-be-updated initiatives (Epic and User Story), evaluating the impacts for IT.
• To perform detailed & functional and technical analysis/ Design
• To participate in and supporting developers in development phase
• To test support and problem determination
• To participate to and collaborate in the definition of new suppliers and contract requirements
• To breaking down requirements and technical solution into proper slice (User Story) thoroughly examining the costs, benefits, and risks of various options prior to selecting an approach; explanation/ justification of decisions in a logical and systematic fashion.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent
• +3 years’ experience in the same role in a complex environment with 24/7 service availability
• Excellent knowledge of IT architecture in place (for the relevant domain) and technical flows
• Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services development
• Experience in front-end solution design using TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular and JQuery
• Junit testing, Test Driven Development and Spring Integration testing
• Good knowledge of issue and code versioning tools (Azure and Git)
• Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL)
• Good knowledge of IT Technologies
• Good knowledge of the technological landscape (application layer) of the relevant domain
• Good knowledge of Agile paradigm
• Good knowledge of Scrum
• Good knowledge of UML standard
• Good knowledge of Microservice architecture and Domain design model
• Good knowledge of retail banking business
• Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Proven experience in application development with JAVA on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring, Boot
