Head of Client Administration
Your work environment
The Client Administration department, (+/- 80 employees), plays a key part as the first line of defense. The department supports the commercial line regarding their activities day to day and most of all implement new regulations. Activities range from the issuing of tax statements to various analysis, as well as management of claims.
Description of the function
As Head of Client Administration, duties involve managing teams and resources, supporting sales department in the administrative management of client files and ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations. Operations are reported directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
Positioning yourself as a business enabler whilst remaining risk aware, in accordance with services, including the following:
Delivering the services (opening of accounts, modifications of agent, certification)
According to the expectations agreed with the commercial departments
Ensure the operational implementation of our regulatory obligations, including the FATCA, CRS and FEC Policy programs as well as group initiatives in this area such as KYC programs
Collaborate in the implementation of structural solutions to optimize the organization of department activities and improve processes
Analyze and file documentation
Provide legal cover
Analyze and take decisions on exemptions.
Training and experience:
Higher degree in economic orientation I.e. Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Legal Sciences or similar.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Financial sector, including 3 years in a management function.
Excellent managerial and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to optimize processes, establish, maintain and analyze process indicators;
Ability to understand the regulatory issues and their challenges for the bank and our clients
Commercial experience will be considered has an asset;
Language: French and English are essential. Knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset.
