ING Corporate Sector Lending Netherlands (CSL NL) offers an intern opportunity in Amsterdam within our Reporting, Monitoring & Lending Analytics Team (‘RMLA’) Team.

We have a new opportunity available within our RMLA Team! Are you a data & finance fan, eager to explore your banking skills and ready to put your knowledge into practice? Then we are looking for you.

Together with three colleagues you will be supporting the CSL NL department from our home base in Amsterdam. You will be working in Hybrid Mode which means partly from home and partly from the office. We offer you plenty of room to grow, great networking possibilities and an international work environment.

Who are we?

Our CSL NL department services the largest Dutch multinationals as well as subsidiaries of foreign multinationals. We offer various banking products, including Overdrafts, Revolving Credit Facilities and Trade Facilities. Our department consists of highly motivated professionals that work across four different teams: Industrials, Retail & Services, Internationals, and RMLA.

What will you do?

As Intern you:

• Participate in day-to-day operations, e.g. analysis of companies’ key figures, creation of internal ratings and reports, processing of relevant standardized credit cases, portfolio and data quality monitoring.
• Prepare portfolio reports (for CSL NL) and be the contact person for this towards external and internal partners, e.g. inquiries from ING Risk Controlling, international ING colleagues, customer representatives, internal and external auditors.
• Support Transaction Managers with various front office projects and tasks.
• Experience the importance of regulatory changes impact banking and help coordinate various projects for CSL NL to remain data and regulatory compliant.
• Support and service large Dutch and international clients.
• Learn about internal lending procedures and finance processes by collaborating with colleagues from various departments.
   

Who are we looking for?

• You are an HBO/WO (university of applied sciences/ university level) student in the field of economics/finance/international business management.
• You have excellent Excel skills.
• You love to collaborate; you are a team player.
• You have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• You are independent, ambitious and result-driven.
• You are pro-active in finding creative solutions and have an eye for detail.
