The team

You speak up and challenge the status quo. Next to this you are also part of the leadership team of the Area, which means you co-create the area vision and effectively resource the tribe and squads.

  • You have a strong interest and vision in recent trends in data engineering, data management  and technology in general and the ability to transfer this knowledge back to ING
  • A Bachelor’s (HBO) degree in computer science or a relevant field.
  • 8 years or more of data engineering and management experience, with in depth  knowledge of data architecture and translation to business terminology.
  • Working on continuous improvements on data management to improve performance and deliver real time feedback on demand.
  • Knowledgeable of SQL databases and DB queries and file transfer. 
  • Knowledgeable of controlling IT-Risk and Security Standards in banking industry.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues by using a range of monitoring, test and alerting tools (Configuration, change, incident and problem Management)
  • Build & deployment processes (Azure DevOps)
  • Being able to automate and execute test cases 
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum or Kanban
