Diversity at ING

At ING, we promote diversity not just because it is the right thing to do. We promote diversity because we can’t deliver on our strategy without it.

Our mission is to ‘empower people to stay a step ahead financially in life and in business’ – not only our customers, but also our employees. In line with this, we offer a unique benefits package. For example:

  • We are the first employer to give new parents one month’s paid leave.

  • We give 1.5 days of paid leave and 1.5 days of unpaid leave for ‘diversity days’ which you can use to celebrate occasions that are special to you, such as Carnival, Sugar Feast or Pride.

  • If you are 60 or older you have the opportunity to spend one day a week sharing your knowledge and know-how at community-based organisations or educational institutions.
