The Credit Risk Analyst will be part of a team of high value specialists who are responsible for the risk management of the corporate credit portfolio. The core task of the team consists in assessing and deciding on/advising on individual credit proposals for corporate clients. They are also in charge with initiating policy actions, monitoring the trends in the portfolio and closely following the more sensitive clients (watch list).  When necessary, the Credit Risk Analyst guides the commercially responsible people by offering advice on the structure of transactions and, if desired, by visiting clients.

Your day-to-day

Analyze and review credit and factoring applications for WB and MCB clients, so that you ensure these are complete, correct, consistent and in line with the credit risk policy in place. Decide / advise to the higher approval mandates on the credit proposals received for analysis

Offer advice to commercial people on the credit risk appetite and credit risk policy , guide them in structuring credit proposals

Monitor the credit risk of the assigned portfolio as a whole and individual borrowers separately, i.e. follow the developments of borrowers and financing structures

Monitor the periodic reports on missing documentation, excesses, overdue approval conditions, non-compliant covenants, overdue reviews and policy exceptions. Take action when needed based on these reports

Review portfolio analysis reports, provide input in the RWAs forecast process

Actively monitor the Watch List portfolio; ensure that actions discussed in the WL meeting are properly followed up on

Participate in the various interdepartmental projects that require Credit Risk Department’s feedback/involvement – reviewing lending/FM contract, efficiency projects, etc.

What you bring to the team

Master’s degree in Finance/ Economics; ACCA or CFA would be an advantage

Multiple-year experience (1-3 years) in banking, preferably in corporate lending or risk management

Excellent ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders

Customer orientation, persuasiveness and decision-making

Knowledge and experience with Financial Markets (derivatives) would be a plus

Good command of English in word and writing
