ING Australia are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Mortgages team! On a day-to-day basis the Sr Technical Business Analyst will drive workshops with stakeholders in the business, risk, operations, data and internal and vendor technology teams to capture and document requirements. The Sr Technical Business Analyst is expected to be capable of analysing large amounts of information from different sources and condensing it into clear and succinct technical artefacts. These artefacts include are but not limited to interface specifications, data contracts, data models, and they will be used by the Product Owner and technology squads to build APIs, micro-services and other applications/systems.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Product Owner is writing user stories
  • Attend agile ceremonies with the Product Owner and delivery squad on a regular basis to ensure effective implementation of the business requirements. From time-to-time the Associate Product Owner may also be involved in SIT and UAT
  • Support the delivery of products and services to drive customer growth and automated systems and processes to enable scale
  • Assist with risk assessment documentation and business readiness artefacts to support implementation
  • Work with a range of stakeholders across the bank and prioritising based on driving the mortgages strategy

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong mortgage domain knowledge, experience with credit decisioning models and data models is highly desirable
  • An understanding of business objectives and processes in a complex environment and can ensure these are reflected in system requirements
  • The ability to define business processes that need to be developed or automated to allow the use of the new or updated systems to be used by the businesses
  • Awareness of risk management principles, assessments and controls
