Purpose


Do you want to play an essential role in ensuring the good reputation of ING, and be in the first line of defence against money laundering and terrorist financing? Currently we are looking for a Change Executive Professional – Road Manager for the GKYC Delivery Tribe.


The Global KYC organisation is still a young organisation within the COO domain. Its purpose is “Enabling people and organisations to use our banking services by ensuring a compliant and competitive KYC ecosystem.” In doing so the focus is on preventing and finding financial crimes, tax evasion and terrorist financing with a global scope and with an innovative and transformational approach.


Global KYC is a first line department providing the ING business and functions guidance with standardised solutions in the area of various KYC related regulations (on process, control, and digital solutions, etc.) as well as support to realize operational excellence.


The Global KYC Delivery Tribe is part of the Global KYC organisation within ING COO. You will be involved with the development of the Global KYC Digital Service contributing to socially relevant topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Sanctions and their global implementation across 40+ countries, affecting 40 million+ ING customers. Through this, we will be able to deliver our customers an optimal KYC experience, whilst remaining compliant and in control of our risks and processes on a global scale. You will be in contact with market leading vendors and thought leaders in their respective domains. As such, you will be working with many colleagues from different disciplines, geographies and backgrounds.


Job profile
As a Road Manager (RM) you support the organization in realizing large and complex changes. You bring people together and work towards a shared vision or change target and end product. The RM organizes alignment and helps Squads , Tribe lead (s ) and the Executive Board to implement the change target . This specialization has a stronger emphasis on influencing rather than on control. The RM makes it possible to realize complex changes through short-cycle implementations by organizing cooperation, coordination and coherence between Tribes, Squads, stakeholders and colleagues.
You orchestrate the execution of the roadmaps of the Tribe. For this you lead and create an integrated approach towards the countries, where we are delivering our CDD, Monitoring and Screening solutions.
You are the SPOC for countries under your remit with regard to the implementation of the KYC global digital platform and its services. You are responsible for the roll-out of one of the Global KYC Digital Service in one or multiple business lines (Wholesale Banking, Challengers & Growth, Market Leaders).


As a Road manager you:
• Support the development, implementation and communication of the Global KYC Digital Service;
• Within this implementation context you create and own roadmaps, manage dependencies and monitor progress between Global KYC, countries and relevant domains;
• Ensure and foster team spirit with your team as well as across the international customers and other Tribe colleagues;
• Are able to simplify our KYC delivery approach to relevant (international) stakeholders;
• Determine the direction of change, together with Business Executive and stakeholders;
• Involve and align the Tribes, Squads, stakeholders and colleagues necessary to organize and implement the change;
• Add focus and accelerate business transformation;
• Support senior management by enabling the successful start-up, execution and delivery of complex and strategic change;

• Analytical skills: you bring structure and quickly find the core problem;
• Independence: You stick to your principles and you are accepted because of your independent and facilitating role while avoiding being ridged;
• Goal oriented: you are committed to the vision, but flexible in the road to reach it;
• Excellent communicator with a large internal and external network and clear focus on collaboration;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in business and IT, among others in the field of architecture, program management, process management, channel development, knowledge of contemporary ICT and innovation;
• Proven track record with international roll-out of central solutions into local organisations;
• Experience with complex stakeholder environment.
Proven track record and technical skills:
• Master or bachelor degree;
• Minimal 3-5 years of working experience (depending on role specification and related seniority level);
• A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment;
• Natural analyst and voice of reason;
• IT background on integrations, workflow and knowledge of ING architectural principles is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Experience/affinity with innovation KYC and IT;
• Experience in guiding and realising change;
• Strong communicative, networking and influencing skills;
• Proven experience in large consultancy initiatives with high impact;
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
