As a Java Engineer you will be a member of an Agile team composed of Engineers, DevOps, Feature Engineers and Product Owner which is working with other Agile Teams, each one dedicated to specific business features from Home’Bank.

Your Day to Day

• Write robust, clean, well-tested and documented code;

• Develop software according to functional and technical specifications, following coding standards;

• Estimate complexity of tasks;

• Perform unit testing to assure that every component of the application that was added or changed is working properly;

• Main technologies: Java, Spring, Kafka;

• Providing technical support acting as 3rd line support.

What you bring to the team

• Good knowledge of Object oriented design & programming;

• Java programming experience;

• Quality orientation/attention to detail;

• Good understanding SOA, RESTful and SOAP services;

• Experience in working with J2EE/ JEE Platform (JAX-WS, JAX-RS), Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices;

• Experience working with messages brokers, preferably Kafka;

• Experience working with Agile and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices;

• University degree - (IT, engineering) background;

• English (Advanced).
