Your Tasks

• In our Circle Lending & Trade you are our specialist for the processing of complex guarantees and sureties for the business of our corporate clients.
• You process the issuing, utilisation / payment, amendment and derecognition of direct and indirect guarantees - and you ensure compliance with domestic and external requirements and regulations (URDG, FATCA/US withholding audit, compliance check, key control testing).
• In addition, you support the guarantee processing of ING Austria.
• In day-to-day business, you prepare commission and fee statements, monitor their receipt and make transfers to income accounts.
• Before issuing guarantees, you assess the guarantee texts for risks and consult with the legal department if necessary.
• You also carry out the periodic reconciliation of accounts and portfolios on the basis of system evaluations.
• Last but not least, you advise our customers on operational questions and process complaints.

Your Profile

• Banking training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Wholesale Banking and Trade Finance Services; ideally comprehensive know-how in the guarantee and surety business
• Sound knowledge of standard IT applications and specialist tools
• Experience in (agile) project work
• Independent, systematic and meticulous way of working
• Customer & service oriented
• Strong communication skills in German and English - written and spoken
