The department | the Tribe Fraud Management & Fraud Detection

Within our Tribe Fraud you will work in a team of Fraud Experts as part of the Fraud Management Product Team, where you will act as the linking pin between the various squads in the area of Fraud Detection & Fraud Prevention

Roles and responsibilities

• As a linking pin between multiple squads, your main goal will be to work on implementing various fraud detection capabilities, for which is it important to make sure that the colleagues from the squads of rulewriters, fraud experts, process owners and IT delivery teams are aligned.
• You will be working with various external stakeholders in order to integrate their capability into ING’s fraud landscape
• You will be involved in defining, aligning and implementing policies related to fraud, both in strategical and operational area’s
• In many cases you will be the connecting chain between the rest of the bank and the various departments in our tribe, both on tactical and operational matters
• In case of fraud incidents with (potential) high impact, you are able to take a leading role to oversee and coordinate annalistic and mitigating activities that might happen in multiple teams
• You are willing to travel occasionally

How to succeed?

• You have a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of (relevant) experience, preferably in an international setting
• You are currently living in the Netherlands and you have an excellent command of the English language, Dutch is an advantage
• You have experience in fighting fraud, preferable in a banking environment
• You have experience in various fraud detection capabilities where you have combined various data points into an effective risk engine
• Strong affinity with IT and up to date on recent developments in fraud landscape, especially in digital channels
• A data-driven mindset; you have experience in analyzing data and making design decisions based on that
• Security related accreditations such as CFE, CISSP or CISM are welcomed
