ING’s Financial Markets Division is looking for an experienced commodities structuring and sales professional to join its Client Solutions team in New York.  You will be a part of the global CSG team and a link between origination sales coverage, clients, sector relationship bankers, commodity trading, credit exposure management, and senior FM management.  You will also collaborate with ING’s Commodity CSG professionals in EMEA and Asia to identify and develop new product offerings aligned with the needs of ING’s client base.  You are responsible for growing the commodity franchise in the Americas region from a P&L perspective through partnership with Origination Sales professionals covering ING’s corporate and financial institutions clients.

In other words, you strive to bring fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment. You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical and execution expertise on structured commodity hedging solutions (e.g. prepay transactions, project finance-related hedging, hedge coordination)
  • Work closely with origination sales coverage to increase flow product penetration with existing clients (e.g. industrials) and identify new potential commodity customers; help develop junior talent to manage day-to-day execution
  • Align with commodity trading to ensure commodity sales and trading act as one team
  • Contribute to process projects such as enhancement of pricing and sales-trader workflow tools
  • Participate from the commodity sales side in aligning our internal pricing/capital pricing models with responsible teams
