The KYC CDD Team (Know Your Customer - Customer Due Diligence) is responsible for local pre-processing of Client Data for Germany, since there is an existing legal requirement in Germany that obliges the bank to keep the customer data up to date and to receive an active confirmation from the customer on his static data regularly. This is done in conjunction with the Periodic review of the customer. A part of this process is called Transparency Register Check, where the ultimate benefactor needs to be checked and compliant with legal statures in Germany.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pursuant to legislature in Germany, in the event of a new business relationship being established, a proof of registration or an extract of the data accessible via the Transparency Register must be obtained.
  • Creates and/or updates client files to global standards, collects and monitors all relevant documents concerning the identity of the customer, as well as gaining insight into their business, ownership structure and financial transactions to protect ING and its customers through the execution of client due diligence in accordance with ING standards.
  • Sending reminders and final calls to the customer in case he/she does not respond to our initial message to obtain the missing information for register completion

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

  • Min. 2 -3 year Back-office experience
  • English Language: B2/C1
  • German Language: B2
  • Analytical person with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to details
  • Ability to deliver under pressure with a high standard and short deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high number of priorities
  • Ability to work in an international environment

Wage (gross)1 640 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
