We are currently looking for Data Security Consultant  who will be part of the team within ING Hubs Slovakia. Purpose of this team is independent execution of various activities related to IT security and IT risk lifecycle management of selected business applications with a support from a technical DevOps team, IT security team.

Because ING provides various IT services, we do not expect you to know everything. Due to this fact, it will be crucial to have willingness to learn many new topics.

We would like to welcome smart and IT enthusiastic person who will have the following competences:

  • Act as supportive function to Asset owners and IT-Custodians
  • Deliver high-quality and punctual evidence securing Asset Governance aspects
  • Assisting Asset Owners and IT-Custodians to guarantee security and compliance of the assets
  • Coordinate and complete regular tasks required to ensure necessary controls are in place
  • Coordinate and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and complete the various artifacts/documents within Asset Owner Accountability 

Who Are We Looking For?
We do welcome candidates who are fluent in English, have IT experience in  IT security or IT risk management or IT compliance.  You can handle large quantities of information and you are comfortable in a dynamic environment. You actively follow-up on all tasks /actions requested of you. We are also expecting support process improvements within the team and be responsible for deliveries with the field of subject and is able to work under minimal guidance and supervision over the time.

Personality requirements and skills

  • At least 1 year experience in IT or at least 1 year transferable experience
  • Experience with enterprise-level IT processes
  • Can work fully experienced and competent
  • Being always able to adapt quickly to changes
  • Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives
  • Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback
  • Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & to lead negotiations
  • Being able to overcome resistance, work in short sprints, work closely with diversity of teams

Wage (gross)

1 800 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
