DevOps Engineer

ING is looking for an excellent DevOps engineer for our Competitive services area with technical & people skills. The team is responsible for the platform of multiple financial market applications. We are operating applications for wholesale banking financial markets.

Your profile matches

Should have:

• Bachelor of Science in Software engineering or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant field
• Experience in IT operational support. (ITIL)
• Sufficient organizational and administrational skills. Documentation, planning, etc.
• Good knowledge in RHEL 8/9 and container platform preferably OpenShift
• Experience with Bash and Python.
• Good knowledge of at least one modern relational database. This combined with either knowledge of or interest in learning the Relational (preferably oracle) database, which we rely on. (DDL , DML)
• DevOps/scrum or Agile experience.
• Experience with continuous delivery and deployment tools (preferably Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge in setting up Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Automating maintenance and support activities.
• Experience and knowledge in setting up monitoring and alerting

Nice to have:

• Financial markets knowledge or certifications
• Experience in handling IT security risk activities
