The role is responsible for the growth and development of the Financial Institutions business in Taiwan. This would entail the development and execution of the FI business strategy in Taiwan working in close collaboration with local, regional and global product partners.
Business development
Taking an active role to:-
establish and maintain a clearly articulated strategy for the growth of the FI business in Taiwan. It is expected that this strategy should be updated at least annually.
Identify resource / product capability requirements needed to grow the business including preparing appropriate business plans to support the investment into additional resources / product capabilities in Taiwan
Drive the development of onshore and offshore product capabilities to support needs of FI Taiwan clients.
Origination of new revenue streams, whilst ensuring that credit exposure and associated systemic risks are appropriately monitored, controlled and mitigated
Ensure that the portfolio is KYC compliant across initiating and booking locations
Relationship Management
Working as a Global Relationship Banker & FI Senior Relationship Manager to develop, broaden and grow profitable long-term relationships with key allocated clients in Taiwan
Manage counterparty limits for the existing clients via Financial Sector review and additional limit requirements in alignment with relevant product stakeholders
Support network businesses for overseas FIs operating in Taiwan, which are under FI Taiwan local relationship management.
Credit Management
Direct involvement and responsibility in the establishment and review of credit lines.
Compliance
Adhere to all ING policies and complete all mandatory training requirements. Maintain an open and transparent culture by reporting all incidents.
