We are looking for you, if you:

  • Have 10+ years’ experience in Data Management and knowledge of Data Solutions (E.g. Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Streaming data and AI/ML)

  • Have 5+ years’ risk (services) domain knowledge, including expertise at the intersection of banking business, risk and data management domains.

  • Experience working in a large (international) organization spanning multiple segments and locations, dealing with global operating models and deployment across countries and/or hubs

  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills,

  • Are able to proactively and independently identify problems, analyze key information and make connections, in order to bring solutions to senior management,

  • Are a hands-on reliable executor

  • Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English,

  • Are familiar with Agile environment, and you know how to make it a real part of your job,

  • Have multicultural mind-set and a highly customer-focused outlook

 

You'll get extra points for:

  • Statistical modelling experience

 

English level: C1

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive the COOR Global Data Deliveries Roadmap

  • Align with COOR entities and functions on local and global business priorities and drive the QBR for global data delivery

  • Ensure integrated end to end data deliveries toward our programs and functions in close alignment with the data consumers/report owners of these programs and (local) data suppliers

  • Support COOR programs with consultancy on solution design and data modelling expertise

  • Communicate effectively, in which you can adapt your style and the content of your communication to the needs of others you work with. You always pay attention to the input and opinions of others

  • Coordinate the resolution for Audit issues, on-site inspections (OSI) and internal model investigation (IMI)

  • Have a customer focus, where you build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions

  • Drive engagement, you create an environment in which people are motivated to perform at their best to help ING to achieve its goals

  • Be organizational savvy, you manoeuvre easily through complex policies, processes and people-related organizational dynamics across ING

  • Look ahead, you show a strategic mindset, and you find future opportunities which you can translate into concrete strategies

Information about the squad:

You will be part of the Data & Reporting area within Data department which is part of COO Risk. This is a part of Risk Hub – a business unit which main aim is to shape the future of risk modelling and data analysis in Poland. We are also part of global, cross-location tribe Data & Reporting, we have colleagues in Amsterdam, Warsaw and Manila.

You will play a role of Data Governance Expert, closely cooperating with another expert with similar position, working on producing and maintaining data governance within the organisation. You will work closely with other data teams, model development, methodology team and other stakeholders. You will report to Chapter Lead – Data Capabilities.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Management Expert IV”.
