What does the Trading Risk Management Team do in ING?

The team ensures that market risks taken by the Financial Market and Group Treasury (FM and GT) are within the risk appetite set by the the management board of the bank.

What would you be doing?

Assist the team in Risk and P&L report production as well as in the evaluation of the market risk exposures taken by FM and GT.

Assist in system testing and migration to streamline and enhance daily report production.

What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

Good analytical skills and a educational background from any of these fields: Finance, Accounting, Management, or Economics.

Basic knowledge in macros for excel.

We need students who are available daily full-time (9am to 6pm) and can physically report to the office 3-4x per week.

What would you gain from this internship?

Understanding of financial markets, market risk monitoring, and valuation of financial products.
